Though it is certainly a tough time for many, we at YL are fortunate to be getting busier during this pandemic, and we also have the opportunity to bring on some more team members to join our firm, which specializes in solid, simplified and cost-effective legal advice in the areas of litigation, debt collection and real estate among other specialities.
Right now, we are looking for some great candidates for the following positions:
- An Associate Lawyer: The successful candidate will possess one to three years of litigation experience, ideally with a focus on Creditors’ Rights law and enforcement of Judgments. The winning candidate will have experience dealing with the recovery of outstanding debt on behalf of creditors, including financial institutions and leasing companies.
- Legal Assistant: Looking for a quick learner with a positive attitude and excellent organization skills. The position is legal assistant to lawyers and includes such tasks as scheduling, billing, docketing, drafting of Motion Records, affidavits of service, demand letters, reporting and other letters. It would be helpful to have knowledge of ACL, and GhostPractice. We would welcome someone who is extremely efficient, able to effectively manage simultaneous tasks and understands confidentiality of client information.
